Action Care Employees
By working for Action Care Ambulance, our employees know they are part of a team of caring professionals who are empowered to do what it takes to get
the job done. We strive to make our employees number one. We are a leading Denver Metro EMS Provider and we understand
we never could have done this without an incredible team of employees.
Events and Community Activities
Action Care and its employees sponsor and participate in many special events and activities throughout the year. These include blood drives, bike safety rodeos, food & clothing drives, charity walks, and EMS recognition celebrations.
Wall Of Fame
Our 2009 employee recognition awards were presented at our March 2010 company meeting. These awards recognize 3 individuals for their efforts and excellence.

Employee of the Year
Jake Eustrom, NREMT-Basic
Jake has been employed with Action Care since 2007. Jake obtained his EMT certification at Front Range
Community College and received additional EKG, IV, CPR, and AED certifications from Red Rocks Community College.
Jake has always been involoved with community services, marketing/public relations, special events, EMS training,
and has aspirations of becoming a paramedic. He is admired by his peers and administration for his patient care, compassion,
leadership, knowledge, and has proven to be a strong reliable partner for new and senior medics. Without a doubt, Jake is a true asset to this company and
those he works with and treats. Jake is one of two EMT's to be awarded this honor over the last nine years.
We are proud to honor Jake with our 2009 Employee of the Year award.
Most Improved
Eric Paradis, NREMT-Paramedic
Eric has been employed with Action Care since 2008. Eric obtained his Paramedic certification from Denver Health Paramedic Program in 2003
and also has ACLS and PALS certifications.Eric obtained his BS in Biology from the University of Colorado in 1999. Eric has proven to be a strong asset
to Action Care and was appointed as a Field Training Officer in 2009. In the 2 years that Eric has been with Action Care he has shown continuous growth
and we are proud to honor Eric with the 2009 Most Improved award.
Community Service
Dena Levings, Director of Community Outreach/Marketing
Dena has been employed with Action Care since 2004. Dena is involved with many community service programs
including Safe Kids Denver, Safe Kids Colorado Springs, American Heart Association, and 9 Health Fair. Dena organized
the Action Care Safety and Bike Rodeos and assisted Elbert County in arranging their first rodeo scheduled for May 2010.
Dena has also been involved in events highlighting poison prevention, "Stranger Danger",and "Buckle Up" awareness programs.
Dena has a specialized program that she runs outlining the use of helmets while engaged in sports activities and
awareness of Traumatic Brain Injury and its effects on the patient and families. Dena is a CPR instructor and provides
classes for Action Care employees and many local care centers. We are proud to honor Dena with our 2009 Community Service award.
