Services
At Action Care Ambulance, we believe patient care extends beyond the medical assessment and treatment that is provided on-scene and that care actually begins the moment a call is received in our Communications Center. We pride ourselves on our ability to match our services with our patients needs. To maintain these standards, every call for service is prioritized according to the patient’s condition. Once prioritized, each request is properly dispatched with the appropriate resources, e.g., Advanced Life Support and/or Basic Life Support.

Emergent and Non-Emergent Ambulance Service

Action Care Ambulance provides Advanced and Basic Life Support service utilizing state of the art ambulances stocked with the latest patient care equipment including Life Pak 12 cardiac monitors, capnography, King airways, and Motorola radio systems. All of our vehicles are Y2K or newer and are carefully maintained by our in-house fleet maintenance staff. All ambulances are staffed with State of Colorado and National Registry certified Paramedics and EMT's. Our ambulance service is available 24/7/365 and we respond with numerous fire departments throughout the region. We are proud of the strong professional relationships that we have developed with these departments and their personnel.

Communications

Our state of the art Emergency Communications Center is staffed 24/7/365 with certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers who have received extensive training and provide pre-arrival instructions to callers while assistance is enroute. Our center has direct radio and Nextel communication with all of our vehicles and the fire agencies that we support. All of our information is entered and tracked in our Computer Aided Dispatch system. We utilize RescueNet Billing and Dispatch from ZOLL Data Systems for our dispatch and billing system management. At Action Care Ambulance, our primary mission is to provide transportation services for every request utilizing the most appropriate level of resources. We pride ourselves on our ability to meet or exceed all nationally established standards for emergency response times. Our company philosophy dictates that every call for transportation is conducted in a timely and professional manner.

The professionalism of our staff is evident in their appearance, attitude and performance. All Action Care employees are required to wear company issued uniforms and to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Equipment

We firmly believe in providing our personnel with the best vehicles and equipment available. Everything we use in our daily work is scrutinized for its ease of use, functionality, durability and performance. All equipment is fully evaluated before being purchased and issued for use in the field.

Fleet Maintenance

When it comes to our vehicles, we strive to be a leader in our industry. Each vehicle has been built to our custom specifications and incorporates the latest in safety and comfort features. Our fleet is one of the newest in the country and each vehicle is cleaned and inspected daily. All units are maintained and serviced in our own maintenance facility that is equally well equipped with an extensive list of modern service equipment.
